About me...

Hi, I’m Imogen.

I create handmade keepsakes and memorial jewellery in the UK, designed to hold life’s most meaningful moments,  from remembrance jewellery made with ashes, hair, fur or breastmilk to personalised keepsakes for babies, weddings, pets, and special memories.

I’ve worked in the care industry since I was 18, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people and hearing their stories of lives well lived. I’ve held hands with those taking their final breath, and supported families through some of the hardest moments imaginable.

These experiences have shaped me deeply and shown me just how important memory, comfort, and legacy truly are.

Why I started creating keepsakes

After losing a very dear family member, I experienced first-hand how expensive memorial items and cremation ashes jewellery can be. That’s where my journey into creating affordable, handmade memorial jewellery and keepsakes began.

Being a one-woman business means my overheads are low, which allows me to create meaningful ashes keepsakes and personalised memorial pieces at a more accessible price than many larger brands without ever compromising on care, detail, or respect.

How it naturally grew

Life continued to shape my work in deeply personal ways.

I got married and preserved my own wedding bouquet in resin. I won’t lie… it was stressful  but I absolutely love the result, even though it isn’t perfect. That experience led me into dried flower preservation and personalised floral keepsakes, learning how to capture natural colour and beauty for as long as possible.

Becoming a mummy

Then I had my beautiful baby girl.

Like any parent, I wanted to capture every tiny “first” and that’s where my baby keepsakes and personalised baby gifts began. From welcome to the world bunnies to first Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts, these pieces are all about preserving fleeting moments you never want to forget.

Why GTC Keepsakes exists

GTC Keepsakes also comes from another big part of my life, my horses.

The name GTC is made up from the initials of my three boys: Mr Grey (G), Trevor (T), and Charlie (C). Each of them has their own personality and has shaped my understanding of patience, care, and the emotional journey of watching animals grow and change through different stages of life.

As my older horses have started easing into retirement, it has made me reflect even more on memory, time, and the importance of cherishing the bonds we share with our animals.

This is where horse hair keepsakes and equine memorial jewellery became a natural part of my work, helping others hold onto those connections in a tangible, meaningful way.

Creating keepsakes for them has helped me process change, and celebrate their lives while they are still very much here.

What I hope for you

Every keepsake I create whether it is memorial jewellery with ashes, a personalised baby gift, or a horse or pet keepsake, is inspired by real moments in my own life and the people (and animals) I love most.

My hope is that your piece brings comfort, meaning, and a sense of celebration, whether it marks a beginning, a memory, or a life you never want to forget.

Bespoke keepsakes

If you have an idea for a personalised keepsake or memorial jewellery piece that isn’t shown on my website, I would truly love to hear it. Some of my most meaningful keepsakes and personalised gifts have started from customer ideas and grown into something completely unique.

Final note
