How it works

Sending something so meaningful can feel daunting. Please be assured that every inclusion is handled with the utmost care and respect throughout the creation of your keepsake.

Creating your keepsake is a careful and respectful process. Every piece is handmade to preserve the memories and moments that matter most to you.

1. Place Your Order

Browse the available designs and choose the keepsake you would like created. Select your preferred inclusion type and complete your order through the website.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with instructions explaining how to safely send your inclusion items.

2. Send Your Inclusions

Your confirmation email will include the address and guidance for sending your materials.

When posting your inclusions, please ensure you include:

• Your order number

• Your name

This allows your materials to be matched to your order when they arrive.

Ashes

For ashes, please send 1 tablespoon per item purchased. This allows me to carefully select the most suitable particles to create your keepsake.

Breastmilk

If you have selected breastmilk, you will receive a collection kit after purchase. This will include:

• A vial for your milk

• A sealable bag

• A padded envelope for returning your milk

Please place 10 ml of breastmilk into the vial, place the vial inside the sealable bag, and return it inside the padded envelope provided. If possible, please tape the top of the vial for extra security during transit.

Horse hair

If you have selected to add plaited tail hair to your framed horse shoe please send me 1-2 pencil heads worth of hair, please ensure the hair is backcombed to remove the shorter hairs and then cut near the dock for full length, any unused hair is returned to you with your finished piece.

Posting Your Inclusions

It is up to you how you choose to post your materials. Many customers choose Royal Mail Tracked 24 for additional peace of mind.

Typical inclusions may include:

• Ashes

• Hair or fur

• Breastmilk

• Flower petals

Only a small amount of each inclusion is required, and any unused inclusions will be carefully returned to you with your finished keepsake.

3. Creation of Your Keepsake

Once your inclusions arrive safely, your keepsake will begin the creation process.

Each piece is handcrafted with care and attention to detail. Inclusions are carefully prepared and preserved before being set into your jewellery.

Every item is treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity throughout the entire process.

As each piece is made individually and the curing process takes time, please allow 2–10 weeks for completion.

4. Completion and Return

Once your keepsake is complete, it will be carefully packaged and posted back to you.

Your finished piece will preserve your cherished memory in a meaningful and lasting keepsake.

• Only a small amount of inclusions is required.

• Unused inclusions will be returned to you wherever possible.

• Due to the handmade nature of keepsake jewellery, each piece will be completely unique.
